hey ladies, I'm a bit confused and concerned I'm 12 weeks & 3 days. I was diagnosed today with group b streptococcal. I was explained by the doctor what was it and she broke it down for me to understand it and how the baby can be diagnosed with it and can come out with serious birth defects. As much as I'm trying not to freak out, it's getting to me! Has anyone been through this, were any of you ladies diagnosed with this infection, if so, was the baby healthy at birth? this is my first child I'm learning as days go by about motherhood. By the way, I am being treated with antibiotics called Amoxicillin and I was told that I'll be treated again when in labor before the baby comes to try avoid the baby from having it. So if any of you ladies can please tell me more I'd really appreciate it! Thank you God bless ❤❤
