What is the best birth control according to you guys ? Benefits and downfalls ?! 😢 I am 19, having irregular periods, and need to get on something!

I was on the nuva ring for YEARS.  Best.Thing.Ever.  I had a light, easy period, very light cramps, no crazy spells.  I loved that thing!

when I was your age I was on the pill. no cramps no other symptoms my periods were 2 to 3 days long if so much. only problem I had was I sucked at taking them on time

I personally like the copper iud so much! I used to be on the combined pill, but I get headaches and migraines so I was advised to come off it. I then decided I didn't want hormones pumped through my body so went with cooper iud. My periods were slightly heavier first few months but nothing annoying, and the cramps do hurt more (but once again nothing unbearable). 
Maybe if you're irregular go with something that can help you regulate, so the combined pill might be a good option. All birth control is very individual specific so it's a trial and error process really! (I also get bad acne so I avoided progesterone only bc for that reason, could work with you though).

At ur age i was on the depo shot. which sucked but i didn't get pregnant. i feel like skyla iud is good too and the ring. talk to ur doctors about that
