Should i ask boss to tone it down?

My boss has twin girls, just turned 13. So he's suddenly discovered how much crap women have to deal w that men don't. His newest discovery is the incidence of rape and sexual assault. He keeps bringing it up in the office, like "isn't this terrible?", and talking about it at length. Most of my office is female. Even though he keeps quoting percentages of women who get assaulted and whatnot, it's like he doesn't make connection that that means, most likely, some of his employees and coworkers have had that experience - and may not want to be triggered every day. Should I say something, or just hope he drops it soon for another pet topic?

And to clarify, I don't know for sure of anyone who is actually getting triggered. I just figure the odds are really good that someone prob is.
