Sorry if this is tmi.

So I've heard terrible things about the first poop after having a baby. I don't know if it's different for vaginal vs c section birth. But I had my son via c section Monday and haven't pooped yet (passed gas and peed, but no poop).

I've drank water and taken colace stool softners, as well as had fiber chewables. I've started to be able to walk around a little more. But I'm honestly a little scared about pooping.

How bad was it? Should I make sure my husband or someone is there in case I pass out (lol)? Was it fine to poop after the first one? Anything else I should be doing?

Edit: I finally did it and thankfully it wasn't too bad!!! I've never been so proud of myself to poop lol
