So whoever had my number before me is in SERIOUS debt because someone from commenity bank keeps calling for some Alfredo person saying he needs to have his attorney call them... Can they seriously sue you if you don't pay back?? I never knew this!

Depends on the age of the debt and the laws in your state. You can submit a certified letter to Comenity stating that they have the wrong number and need to cease the harassing phone calls. After that if they continue and you have proof of submitting the letter, you can actually sue THEM.

God I hope so because my ex counter claimed me TWICE saying he "can't afford" the lawyer (seriously. His lawyer office typed this up. Why take him if he can't pay?) so I hope to god if he truly can't afford hiring that lawyer, that he's gonna get fucked over by the asshole he hired 😂

Yes, Creditors may take you to Court to get paid for the debt and sometimes they ask for the reimbursement of their attorney fees. The only way to avoid that Creditors can sue you it's by making a payment arrangement with them or if you don't have the money you can file for a bankruptcy (in my state Ca).
