My daughter is 18 months and still isn't sleeping longer than an hour or two at a time. She wakes and demands to nurse back to sleep. She won't sleep anywhere but in our bed next to me. I've tried the crib in our room, out of our room, same with pack and play. I tried attaching the crib to our bed too. She just won't. She won't give up nursing either. We've tried all the books tips. From CIO to gentle CIO to the no cry sleep solution. We tried countless routines. We tried adjusting her nap, and bedtime. She will cry and fuss literally all night and pass out during the day and have her days and nights switched. Her pediatrician said there isn't anything wrong with her. I'm just at a loss. I'm tired. And I have no help really as my husband is on night shift. No family is close by either. Daycare isn't an option as the cost here is just out of our price range. And I don't want that sort of solution anyway. I just want sleep at night. I want her to sleep. What am I doing wrong? 😞
