Backstory:

My best friend set me up with one of her co-workers/friend last year and we started dating. I lived away at college through the week and came Home on the weekends, the relationship was good until I realised how self centred he was and some nasty words were said by both of us. Ultimately, the relationship broke down and I cut him out of my life.

So, in between all of that, I confided in my best friend about the issues I was having with my Ex. Bad decision on my part because she would text him everything I said and our 8 year (at the time) friendship was destroyed. I blame her and my ex and she blamed me for what happened, and we just stopped talking.

Fast forward to now, we patched up our friendship and she remained friends with my ex. I have accepted that she is still communicating with my ex and I'm not ok with it but I have learnt to just let it go as there is nothing I can do to stop it!

Anyway, what I'm getting at from this long post is that her 21st is coming up and my ex is going to be there so I need some advice (and obviously I can't ask my bestie!).

What would you do in my situation? Just play it cool and see what happens or make him jealous?
