So I was dead set on wanting the britax b safe. However after all the reviews the only negative people have to say is how heavy it is. We live on an island and take a boat off the island. I'll be taking baby off island with me everyday because I teach on the mainland and it will just make things easier.

Has anyone had the britax versus another car seat? Or any recommendations on a lighter car seat?

I can't test many out in store as the closest store with car seats is target and it's 2 hours from the island and babies r us is about 4. I went to target Monday and they only had 6 infant models. It's a smaller target
