About 6 weeks ago, I suffered my first miscarriage, my husband and I have tried to stay as positive as possible and hope for the best. This past week I started cramping and my boobs were super tender and I was pretty sure AF was about to show but after 5 days of feeling like AF was "about to show" no AF. So I decided to take an Ovulation test, which showed an obvious surge in hormone and put me at peak Ovulation. After pulling the stick out of my OPT tester (I have the Clearblue digital advanced one) I noticed that the test line was WAY darker than the control line which I though was weird because I have never had that happen with my OPK's before. So yesterday I did a little bit of reading about the fact that OPKs can actually detect both LH and HCG hormones meaning they can actually detect pregnancy as well. So first thing this morning, I decided to take a pregnancy test, and lo and behold we are pregnant with our rainbow baby 😍🌈👶🏻 we couldn't be more excited and nervous to start this journey! Hoping this is a sticky baby 🤞🏼
