BTDT Mama, do I need this?

Waterproof mattress pad for ME, not baby. 😉 I've heard if your water breaks in bed, it can ruin your mattress. Is a waterproof pad necessary for the likelihood my water would break in bed.  They're not all that cheap! BTDT mamas, what'd you do?!

I have one and not just for my water breaking. The night sweats after birth can really suck and my mattress is expensive. I don't want to ruin it

I'm definitely going to buy once we upgrade our bed. The bed we have now has so many stains that I don't even care anymore. It has breast milk, pee, pretty much anything you can think of 😭

I got one at Target but mainly because I planned on changing a lot of diapers there. Good decision, that baby's peed and barfed on my bed more than anywhere else.

I got one at target for $30 (queen) and it's been great! We originally got it because we always eat in bed 😜 But it's good to have now too!

I plan on getting one. I haven't had my water break at home yet before with my last two pregnancies, but just in case, I don't want to ruin my bed lol
