Come give your two cents! Boyfriend trouble.

I've got issues with my boyfriend. We've been dating for two and a half years and we do love each other. In the past few months I've started a healthy eating lifestyle and working out almost every day to finally achieve my goals of losing about thirty five pounds and being the muscular gorgeous person I've always wanted to be. My boyfriend is obese and while initially he was excited for me and said he would lose weight too, now I feel like he's trying to sabotage me. He brings me junk food like candy and soda and calls me asking if I want anything when he stops at candy stores or fried fast food places. At first I thought he was trying to be thoughtful but it seems like he's pushing more about the junk food. He gets frustrated when he can't get a hold of me when I'm working out and starts fights. I don't know what to do or to say to get him to realize that this is important to me and I'm not going to stop or change my new lifestyle to suit his insecurities. He's had a rough life and I don't want to be insensitive or cruel. He still lives with his mother when he's on break from college and he asks for her permission to go on dates with me even tho he owns the truck and has his own money. He's 22 years old. I still love him but I think I'm finally in a place where I know that I'm worth more than this. Give me your opinions ladies!

Thanks ladies for your advice and support! Talked to my boyfriend and he was completely unaware of the signals he was sending, and said he was sorry. Next day he handed me a pack of baby carrots as "sweets". Thanks again ladies!
