2ww a second time?

I'm doing another 2ww (two week wait) for my husband because he wants to make sure my positive test wasn't a fluke. I also want to know that I haven't lost it before I start scheduling doctors appointments---and we're putting off making an announcement as well obviously. My first was a breeze, no problems, didnt wait cause I wasn't worried; second time is more daunting, cause I don't want to loose the baby now that I'm more informed. did anyone else take multiple pregnancy tests for any reason?
