Dog threw up yellow?

We noticed our dog had like a foamy mouth, I went to check his kennel where he's been laying and there was yellow liquid and yellow liquid foam all over the floor. I mean I don't think that's normal but has anyone experienced that? Should I take him to the vet?

it can be normal for some dogs who have acid reflux. However, if you notice a change in behavior, change in eating habits, or see any more vomit than just the once, it's time to see a vet. those are signs of potential blockage, liver shunts, etc. better to get checked out than wait and have a 1k or more vet bill

Thank you all. He got into a few different things yesterday and the day before that he shouldn't have. But he's done it before and has been fine. But he's still acting normal and hasn't done it again and I seen him eating. It'd be the last thing I need. The vet knows us very well we've been going for the past 4 months. He had a bad uti one month, then 2 weeks later he fractured his leg so that was a long process, he's finally been healed for the past 2 weeks. But we've spent well over 2,000 on him this year😬😩

It could also have to do with there diet. 1/3 of dogs are allergic to chicken so maybe they developed an allergy? You could always try witching up their food formula!

Mine throw up every now and then. As long as they still act normal and are eating/drinking I wouldn't worry. You can give pepto bismal to help ease their tummy.

It could be that somethings turned his stomach and if there's not much food etc to come up the yellow stomach bile can come out instead. If it's a one off I don't tend to panic, but when my dog started to do it over and over and then went lethargic I took him to the Vet. It turned out to be gastroenteritis. Keep an eye on his behaviour and appetite, if in doubt take him for a check up x

its normal my dog does it all the time it's just spit and something he's eaten

Is he coughing or dry heaving? If so that's a sign of kennel cough which is suuuper contagious but not normally fatal. Will need antibiotics to get rid of. Any other symptoms?
