Me and my LO started out breastfeeding, but he immediately started having latch issues and within 5 days he completely quit latching and would just scream for hours instead of nursing. We tried a nipple shield and all different positions, but nothing helped. I started pumping and feeding him, plus supplementing with formula because my supply was low. Now that he is exclusively bottle fed, is there any way he may be able to pick back up on the breastfeeding and learn to latch in the future (like in the next couple weeks)? I always wanted to breastfeed, but since he wasn't latching, I had to make the decision to introduce him to a bottle much earlier than I hoped, and I feel guilty about it. I'm just wondering if it's too late now for him to learn to breastfeed.
