Any of you guys ever have an ectopic pregnancy?

I think I might have one and I want to know what experience you guys have had with them (obviously not good) and I apologize in advance for asking such a personal question I'm just really worried that that is what's going on with me... I haven't seen my gynecologist yet but I took a pregnancy test and it was faint positive and then took one the next day and it was negative . I've been having sharp dull cramps on and off on my right side, nausea no sign of AF , but little drops of blood.. etc ...and I'm just really worried ... does this sound like an early ectopic?

Some people don't feel any symptoms from an ectopic pregnancy right up until they need surgery. But some people get symptoms such as what you described. I had those symptoms when I had a very early miscarriage. I would definitely go and see a doctor as soon as you can just incase. You don't want to wait until it's too late.

Typically with ectopics the hcg will keep rising until removed.
If you got a positive then a negative that's more indicative of a chemical pregnancy (early miscarriage)
If you're worried though definitely get it checked out to be sure.

I had an ectopic and didn't feel any pain until it ruptured around 7 weeks.  The pain then wasn't unilateral, it was more like really terrible gas pains.  Also, my betas were more than rising appropriately.  I think they were doubling around 30 hours, so you can't always judge by that.  When the tube ruptured my beta was around 30,000.

I had one and it wasn't painful. In fact I didn't even know until the doctor told me and I only found out early because I had a history of miscarriages. What they did for me is an early ultrasound to see if the egg was attached in my uterus. It wasn't and my hcg levels kept rising. I had to have a shot in my thigh to terminate. It hurt more emotionally than physically. But the good news is that we were able to conceive and have a beautiful healthy baby. The further along you get the more painful it will be and what my doctor told me was that it's very dangerous if your tube bursts. So if you think that's what it is I'd get checked before something bad happens.

I havent had an ectopic pregnancy but what i heard from my mom who had one is that it's soooooo painful you would know for sure. Its more than just cramps.
