Anyone so happy to give to know we are now guaranteed to be on payroll for the retro check on Oct 1st, but praying to go into labor before the 5th so we don't have to go back to work?!

Answer

We have to be on payroll as of Oct 1 and that's a Sunday. So as long as we give birth after Friday, we are on payroll for the 1st!  🎉. I went to the UFT maternity workshop and planned it out. That's what's making up for the 6 weeks of unpaid FMLA.
