My husband and I are 1200 miles apart. It's temporary, just another month before he moves to where I am. Because of our jobs we are separated for months at a time about once a year. I hate it and can't wait to get a new job.

We started like that with my husband. An ocean and half Europe between us. 
Eventually I moved to the States. 
It is emotionally draining, needs lots of planing in advance, mutual understanding, clear rules. 
I love him to death, but that part almost ended us. And weren't we absolutely sure how much we love each other and that we eventually will get married, I would see no plus in the 2 years of suffering because of distance and 8 hours time difference.
