Has anyone used a TENS unit during labor?

I've just discovered the concept of a TENS unit for labor pains and it seems very promising. They're inexpensive and I'm doing natural birth so I'm really considering it (especially for endometriosis treatment after I have my baby). Anyone ever use one? I'm due any day now

Yes!!! I managed my whole labour and birth (53 hours all together) with just the TENS machine. I have heard you have to put it on early enough though.

I used a portable one for a pinched nerve in my shoulder a few years ago.... even went in to a Dr to be hooked up to this huge stationary unit that did the same thing every couple days... it didn't help at all for me but I wouldn't hesitate to give it a try during labor, who knows, it may help, and if it dosent its easy to remove and switch to something else.
