My second chance at life!
Be nice to me, I might be your nurse one day 😉
I'm excited to announce that today was my last day ever of being a CNA. From working an average 100+ hours every two weeks to dealing with death at least bi-weekly to learning invaluable skills, I wouldn't change anything about my choice. Although everyday was challenging and no walk in the park, the experience and practice earned from patient care was full of priceless lessons. I also have all of nursing school, tuition, books, and rent saved up for my whole education, no student loans! I shall carry the lessons with me through nursing school, clinicals, and practicing as an RN in a short two years. Cheers to starting college again in four days and the next chapter of my life!
I'm 19 and was abused and raped at 15. I attempted suicide January 2016 which ended me up in the ICU and hospital for 16 days. I could be brain dead, paralyzed, handicapped, have organ failure, be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life, or anything.
Instead, I got out of the hospital with zero complications.
Would it be weird to send the hospital a thank you note for saving my life/ all that they did and an update of where I am today?
