I thought for the two 2 weeks there isn't a full placenta yet so they baby ball of cells is still not taking nutrients from that which would be from what you intake so RESPONSIBLE amounts of alcohol do not get absorbed by the forming baby. Just test around your AF days to be sure you don't end up 4-6 weeks pregnant and drinking. 
Take my advise with a grain of salt though, as I certainly don't know for sure! I still have a drink or two on occasion but not nightly.

Nope, because that one time you do and your actually pregnant you'll feel like crap and in one of the most important stage and sensitive, yeah I think you shouldn't drink if ttc.
