You also have glands around your nipples like that with various purposes. They can become inflamed for various reasons, it happens to me occasionally. They'll be better in a few days. If they're painful, stick to a snug cotton bra and try to avoid friction in the area.

it's fine as long as they don't hurt. it's hair follicles but your nipples have oil gland like pores to keep your nipples hydrated! don't pick at them because it could messup your nipples gland production.its a cool fact I learned about during my breast feeding classes xD
