i had the paragard IUD.  i loved it. its like the mirena but its non hormonal so it wont mess with your cycle..maybe make it a little heavier, but no big changes.  i'll definitely get ot again after i have this baby.

out of all the different bc iv had over the years the implant was fab. No periods while I was on it and was pregnant within 6wks of it getting took out. I would not get the depo again, was fine for me but too many horror stories off other women ttc

I had the Mirena for 3 years and loved it! No periods and no problems as far as hormones. I definitely recommend it!

Mirena was horrible for me.  Placement was so painful and it gave me so a rollercoaster of hormones!  No periods for 5 years was nice,  but the hormones weren't worth it,  also got infections all the time.

Depo is horrible. I took it for a year & a half, once I was off it I had a period for 8 months straight. With breaks here & there but never longer than a week. When they were finally somewhat regular they were bloody, with clots & really painful. Then I find out I have PCOS. I just, wouldn't trust it. I like to think depo caused all these problems for me.

depo is a awful medication. the side effects are horrific and most women experience adverse effects from it
