I started contractions yesterday at 4 am, the night before me and hubby had sex for the first time in around a month so maybe it really does induce labor ? , my contractions were pretty consistent about 8 min apart but they were not super painful. At around 2 pm contractions were 5 min apart and they were painful ! So I went to L&D; to find out I was 2 cm. They had me walk for an hour but made no changes. I was sent home but the nurse did give me a shot on my butt of some kind of pain reliever which felt so nice and I was able to sleep a few hours when I got home. At about 8 am today I woke up with still constant contractions (5-6 minutes apart and they were very painful) I made it till 11 till I couldn't take it anymore and I made it to the hospital (also found my bloody show in the toilet this morning) when I got here I was at 4!! I walked for an hour and made progress to a 5 by then the contractions were so close and so strong I was begging for an epidural. By the time I had someone here I was at a 6. I am now 6.5 since about an hour and a half so hoping to still be making progress ! I am no longer scared of labor since I don't feel anything anymore 🙃 now I'm scared of having a newborn and being a ftm !!!
