6 week pp check up??

Did anyone shave down there? I have third degree tear..been two weeks and 4 days. Did anyone shave before their 6 week check up with the Doctor??

I never shave I have too sensitive skin

I trimmed but that was for myself and not for the doctor.

Nope and the Dr can honestly care less about the hair, I had stitches and swelling and there was no way I was putting a razor down there!

pfffftttt....theyve seen worse, sister. between a new baby, and healing, I don't think they expect you to have time or energy to shave.

How are you healing? Are you still sore? My sister recently got a third degree tear too, and I had a second degree one which I'm happy to say fully healed and everything is normal again. I recommend trimming with scissors, but absolutely no need to shave! You don't want to do anything to the area without your doctor saying it's ok anyway- I would have PTSD if a razor nicked my lady parts after birth!
