Sleeper vs Sleepsack - which do you prefer for sleep?

I currently use a Sleepsack on my son for sleeping over a onesie but I'm trying to decide if I should move to the sleepers since he moves around so much.

I use both. My son doesn't have a preference. He is pulling up to standing in his crib and the sleep sack doesn't get in the way so if that is your concern, it hasn't been a problem in my experience.

once we gave up the swaddle we gave up the sleep sacks 🤷 my son wears shorts and a tee shirt style PJs generally speaking this summer. or at least a t shirt with sleep pants. he runs hot.

My son is still in a sleepsack. I do just a sleepsack over a diaper if his room is really hot. If it's cooler I'll do a onesie too. I think when it cools down in the fall and winter I'm gonna switch to footie pjs. He can't pull up yet but he's close!

My son is lanky so most footie pyjamas are to short for him. He sleeps in a sleep sack and a onesie and has no problem pulling to a stand while wearing it.

My son sleeps with a shirt or naked. He sweats A LOT. So I try to keep him cool.

I can never answer these accurately. My son is such a furnace. Lol I'll be laying there huddled under blankets freezing and he'll be laying next to me nothing but a onsie comfy as can be. He sweats  so bad if I put more layers on him.

I use the footie pj's and the halo sleep sack. I had a ton of carters sleep sacks and didn't like them at all. They have the sleeves so I'm like do i use pj's or just a onesie? We tried different ways and I was never sure. Worried she would be too cold or hot. Finally got the halo brand and loved it! Our friends use the halo brand also their daughter is over the age of one and can stand up in her sleepsack with no problem.

Ours hates any kind of sack now; he likes his leg freedom haha, he's all over the place in his sleep.
