Just venting

At the start of this month, there were 4 practicing midwives in the group I'm using. By the end of the month, there will be one. She will focus on labor and delivery and an associated ob practice will cover office visits.

They have 30 deliveries anticipated next month. So there's no way she can do it all. In which case, more ob coverage. If it's an ob on call, it means I can't use the alternative birthing suite or have a water birth. I understand birth plans change all the time, but we chose the midwives for a reason, and it feels like we're getting gypped already. Fingers crossed it's a quiet time when I go into labor.
