Similac for Supplementation
So I'm an exclusive pumper, nursing never for my daughter who is now 4.5 months. recently I've noticed my supply going downhill. I can typically pump 5-6oz per pumping session but it's now anywhere from 3-4oz. I work second shift and my husband works first shift so when I'm at work and he doesn't have fresh milk he grabs from the fridge/freezer. There my freezer stash is dwindling down. I've started supplementing 2oz with the Supplementing formula. So my daughter will eat 2oz formula and 4oz BM. So far I've only done this for 1 feeding and she seems to be okay with the formula. When she was younger and we tried formula she could not handle it. My questions are, do babies handle formula better as their older? And if I lose my supply can I keep using the supplementing formula as she seems to be okay with it? Does anyone have any experience with this... Tia
This is the formula I'm using. Haven't tried powder since she was a NB. I've been using the liquid because we have a stash of it. But would switch to powder when we run out.
