Miscarriage and pregnancy

I had a miscarriage on the first of July and I still haven't had my first period yet. Its been nearly 8 weeks now. Me and my boyfriend have been trying (he 'cums' in me every time we have sex)

Im a little bit worried as i didn't have a scan to check everything had came out. As when i had a miscarriage 3 years ago i did have a scan and i do remember having my period the next month.

What should i do? Should i take a test, go to the doctors or just wait for my next period.
