Too young?

I'm 17... Am i too young to be wanting a kid? I've always been really into kids but now that I am getting older and having sex, my baby fever is so strong.

No girl you are WAY too young a baby would ruin your life!!! Go out party have fun go to college make new friends, don’t worry about a baby right now you have all the time in the world. I’m 25 and so glad I don’t have any kids yet lol. I’m enjoying my free time to enjoy myself 🎉 🍻 ♥️

I’m 16 and pregnant and I’m going to tell you now, this is the hardest things I’ve ever done. I wish I would waited until I was at least 18 but now I’m 10.5 weeks and miserable. I think you should reconsider.

I’m 16 and feel the exact same way. Sometimes it’s hard to decide what I really want you know? Because I want to start a family so bad but I also fear how everyone would treat me if I got pregnant.

I know you think you are grown up and you know everything at that age, I was the same when I was 17, but you are still so young and inexperienced with life at that age, as is anyone else! Do you know how to financially look after yourself? How rent/mortgage/bills work? Do you have a job? A stable relationship? Do you have a career plan? Can you independently afford to buy every single thing your baby needs, e.g for the nursery, and then everything there-on after when the baby is here? If you can't answer yes to every one of those questions, you shouldn't be getting pregnant. 
 Baby fever is 100% normal, I get it aaaaaall the time, but I'm not in a financially stable situation because I work part time whilst I finish my degree, so as much as I'd love to have a little one, it wouldn't be fair to an unborn child, me or my boyfriend. 
 When you have a baby, your needs and wants come last. All the things you were able to do as a teenager and can do when you're older (e.g. Holidays on your own, travelling, drinking etc.) become impossible or at least harder to do.
 My last point I want to make is that if you're asking the question 'too young?' Then you are too young to be having a baby. If it's something you're ready for then you will have considered all of the outcomes and possibilities and will know in yourself if this is a good choice for you. Let yourself experience the world and have fun doing it before you settle down and have a family 😊

Having a baby would be a committing your entire life to something for longer than you’ve been alive. Think about it.
What is it about having a baby you want so much. Is it feeling important, feeling like an adult? There are other ways you can achieve those without getting pregnant. 
Are you in a committed relationship? With someone willing to support and help you through the journey and beyond? Can you earn enough money to support you and the baby both if you are a single parent?
Just some thoughts for you to ponder.
