When you got your BFP with clomid, femara, or letrozole..did you time ovulation with opks or did you do the trigger shot??

Just wondering because I did my first round of letrozole and trigger shot last month and got pregnant from the first round. But miscarried at 5 weeks. I was given the option by my specialist that I could either do the trigger or use opks. Now I'm deciding if for this next round if I should do opks or do the trigger again? Which did you do when you got your bfps?

I did IUI with trigger. There was no indication that I wasn't ovulating on my own but the doctor suggested doing the trigger for timing. I'm currently 33+1 with boy/girl twins from our first round! Good luck!

I did IUI with clomid and trigger shot, as well as trying at home after the IUI. Now 6w1d.

We did Letrozole and a trigger. Took us 3 IUI cycles to get. BFP.

I've triggered with all of our letrozole cycles - the last two they had me track with opks as well, because they wanted me to wait a few days to let one of the follicles grow more, but said to trigger if no surge by a certain day. No surge, so triggered! 9w3d now :)

I took Clomid days 5-8 of my cycle, and on day 22, my doctor had me go to the lab for bloodwork.  They called me and told me based on my progesterone level, I definitely ovulated and to take a pregnancy test in a week or so if my period didn't come.  I tested once and got a negative.  The next afternoon, I puked after cutting grass and was so excited thinking maybe it worked.  Husband said I was probably just dehydrated.  Next morning I got my first positive test!  We had twin boys 💞  (now 17 months old)

The first time we triggered and I ended up  with a miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy. The 2nd time I ended up ovulating on my own and didn't need to trigger. The doctor figured out when I would ovulate/need trigger and did an ultrasound and the US showed I had ovulated just fine. About two weeks later we got our BFP.

I didn't take OPK's or use trigger shot. I feel mid cycle ovulation cramping and made a deal with my husband that if we BD'd right away we wouldn't have to for the rest of the cycle if we didn't want to. (My dr said to BD every other day from days 10-20 and we had been doing that for months... it was wearing on us lol.) 10 days later - BFP!

I did 5 rounds of Clomid.  the 2 rounds that I did not have a trigger shot, I got pregnant. Not sure if it was a coincidence, but if I were to do it again, I wouldn't do a trigger shot.
