What do I do

Me and my boyfriend have been together for almost 5 years. We got together when I was 13 and he was 14 so now we're 18 and 19. I know we're young and we'll grow up more but I'm stuck. We moved in with each other about a year ago and they say you don't really know someone until you live with them. Well now, I'm at the point I love him to death but he's such an ass I can't stand to be around him. I have to pay my 1/2 of the bills on top of ALL of the house work including cleaning up after him and his friends partying every weekend, all of his laundry, cleaning dishes etc. he doesn't see anything wrong with it because I'm the "woman of the house" but I'm so sick and tired of feeling used. We never used to argue or fight but now the way he talks to me has caused me to turn spiteful and all we do is argue. He doesn't want to change and I don't want to be treated like crap. Do I wait for him to grow up? Or do I move out and leave him and throw almost 5 years away?

I would get my own place. Not necessarily break up, but definitely get some space. If he doesn't realize you're feeling used and are so fed up with it after you've moved out, then I probably would break up with him. You should not be taken advantage of, and it sounds like that's what's happening.. of course you should be open with conversations about how you feel with him, but if that's not working, time to take matters into your own hands.

I would leave and I'm also 18. I'm sorry but I'm way too young to be acting like a grown man's mother. He sounds like he needs someone to clean up after him. I suggest getting your own space at least. Don't give him the option of changing your mind, simply explain why and then continue to do your thing. You shouldn't be dealing with unnecessary stress

Giving up is never a resolution to the problem. If you love him you would understand that maybe he's feeling a certain way and doesn't know how to talk to you about it. Try to engage in a deep conversation. You might think you "know everything about them", you'll be surprised how much you can learn from a person you've know for many years. Every couple fights at some point, but if you feel belittled you need to do something about it. If you keep that going it'll only get worse on yourself. Trust me I've learned that over time. Just because you're a female, doesn't mean you have to pick up after him like a child. If he leaves a mess, make him clean it. He's an adult now and he shouldn't be cared for like an infant. Don't be scared to be honest. That's an important thing in a relationship :) hope that helps somehow

personally sounds like he's using you, because he should do everything your doing to. Me and my SO don't live together but I help him around the house, just think do you wanna deal with doing everything while he does nothing for the rest of your life?
