I'm seeing my OB and MFM weekly to monitor my incompetent cervix. Another thing they are monitoring is a "light spot on baby's heart." My OB told me this is a soft marker for Down syndrome and other chromosome abnormalities. Since this is the only soft marker they've seen, my OB said there is such a small chance of it meaning anything, she doesn't recommend any extra testing or anything. Has anyone else had this? What else could the "light spot" mean or be?
