How did you pick your baby name?

My husband and I have a short list of baby names. We still have three months before the baby comes, but it's starting to bother me nothing seems perfect. 
How did you all pick?

i always wanted to name my daughter Violet after my grandmother but my husband wasnt too keen on it so we agreed on Scarlett and Violet as the middle name but after my 20 week scan when we found out it was a girl he changed his mind and said he wanted to name her Violet 😊

I chose the first name, felt strongly enough that he started to consider it (he didn't like anyyyy of the other names I liked), and then he asked if he could choose the middle name and it was absolutely perfect, and when we said it together we were both in love with the whole name.

We both liked one. We made a deal that if we were having a girl he could choose the the name but we both had to like and agree on it, and if it was a boy same thing but I got to choose.

My boyfriend picked because our son is carrying on his last name; none of his aunts/uncles had boys so it was depended on my boyfriend to carry on the name by creating a baby boy. He based it off his favourite superhero, Wolverine. Our sons name is Logan and oh boy does he have an attitude/temper like Wolverine lol. The name couldn't of been a better fit for him.

I told my husband if we ever have a boy I wanted to name him after our grandfathers. Both passed away somewhat early in our relationship and meant a lot to us. He loved it so it stuck lol...as for our girl name. He told me early in our relationship he has had a little girl name picked out since he can remember and I adore the name so it stuck too. I once told him I liked another name (just as a back up if we have more than one boy or one girl)  and he started freaking out saying he thought we were set on names haha.
