For as long as I can remember I've always want all my kids birth to be something that really only my husband and I were a part of with a midwife or doctor on stand by in case something went wrong... but nothing with this pregnancy is what I planned for... no health issues just not the ideal situation. I'm not married and I'm only 18. I would still love to be able to go through with what I've always known I wanted but the dad isn't supportive about it. I would really love to hear from someone who has done it or at least a hands off birth even if it was in a hospital. For me I guess the important thing and questions I have would be:

Is it safe at my age? I know I'm young so is there a possibility that could cause problems?

It's my first so could that also cause problems?

If you've chosen this before was it a better or worse experience for you?
