Do you think that fertility drugs play with nature to much? (please explain your views)

Question

For instance people with fertility issues taking fertility drugs and then having a lot of miscarriages or in some cases having a large amount of multiples that have a hard time surviving (quads,etc).
I'm interested to see what everyone thinks. I'm not judging anyone at all and I myself don't really have a strong stance on the subject either way. I think it would just be interesting to see how everyone feels. 
Please don't judge each other to harshly on this post. I created this to get a better understanding of what other people think and feel out of genuine curiosity...nothing more. To me every child is a blessing!

Of course they play with nature. It's not natural that I am popping pills and injecting myself every day, just so I can get pregnant again. That being said, I'm going to go against nature any way I can in order to have another child., and I'm grateful that I have the extra help from science and medicine to get my baby.

I don't think so because God has given doctors the knowledge. I do believe people take science to far with gender selection but if someone can afford to have multiples than more power to them. 
I actually used fertility medicine to become pregnant this last time and I give God 100% of the credit for this blessing.

I think people can take anything too far. Example: Jane takes Clomid because she doesn't ovulate on her own. Sally takes Clomid because she desperately wants twins.  ....I think Sally abused the use of fertility medication.

Virtually everything we do plays with nature. This would be an odd place to draw the line. Especially when all the chemicals we are exposed to are causing infertility in the first place.

Nope. Humans are a part of nature. We are natural creatures. What we do with our health is nature, we evolved to have large pre-frontal cortexes, that is our evolutionary success. We don't have large sharp teeth or hard scales, we have the ability to comprehend science and medicine. That's how we are able to further our species. I don't see anything immoral about that. 
We ARE nature. We're not messing with it.

I'm curious to see what people say. There are those religious people who don't even believe in birth control so I can't imagine what their views on this are. I always believed that if god gives you the miracle of being able to have a baby, he's also made the people that are smart enough to invent all of the advances in science to be able to help a person have a baby or birth control to make people not have babies! I also don't believe in God per say but that's my argument to them. 
I definitely don't see the point in putting 8 embryos in your body at once. I think there should be a limit on that.

No but get ready for a lot of hypocrites to show up and say how great these treatments are because god gave us knowledge but then ignore all the other knowledge god gave us 🙃🙃🙃

I think fertility treatments are wonderful. i dont know what id do not being able to conceive so easily naturally. my heart goes out to those struggling. however the religious part of me feels its borderline playing God. But i tell myself that if God didn't want those treatments to exist he wouldn't of given man knowledge to create them.

I'll put this in a different perspective. I'm 22 with two beautiful girls (gotten pregnant naturally). However, I've recently started taking fertility drugs. The reason behind this is that I'm a carrier of a progressive genetic disorder. My younger daughter is the affected child and I don't wish what she's going through upon an enemy. Due to genetic testing (pgd) and chromosomal screening I'm forced to take those meds in order to produce more eggs then test them. I've known people who ended up with 20 eggs, but only one made it after blast, the testing etc. If those embryos are affected it's not an option to keep them.

I think fertility treatments are good and power to anyone that needs them or has used them, I hope these treatments become more accessible in future. What I do have a problem with is the ethical side of it, I don't like the idea that we may  progress to a world where gender selection is commonplace and unique genetic traits are eliminated through screening on purely cosmetic or preferential reasons - a bit like that Gattaca movie is what I'm getting at. 
On a personal level, which is probably my own fucked up family dynamic, but I'll share anyway...
My SIL and BIL couldn't get pregnant due to age, being over 35 and meeting late in life so they had several rounds of IVF treatments which my MIL and FIL couldn't stop talking about with everyoneeee, they spend upwards of $60k on IVF and are the kinds of people that love shoving their wealth in your face. They ended up having a baby about a year ago which is now treated like a god. Meanwhile we conceived naturally and my MIL and FIL literally couldn't give a fuck because it wasn't attached to money or status or going to a celebrity IVF clinic. 🙄
Obviously this is a one off situation but it still cuts me deep.
Everyone that wants access to IVF though, should have it. I support it. 💕
