HELP!!! I have a maddening issue, my feet itch when they're cold! Nothing helps, I've tried cortisol creams, gold bond, Benadryl, anti fungal. I've switched soaps, detergents, shampoo, dryer sheets. There is no rash, skin doesn't look dry or cracked, no bumps nothing! Just a maddening itch that refuses to go away! They only trigger seems to be temperature. Anytime the temperature drops I get this insane itch that no amount of scratching can ease, in fact it seems to makes it worse! This is no ordinary itch either, it's kept me awake for hours at night. It feels like poison ivy! The only thing that eases the itch is HOT water and wool socks. I mean hot, my feet are red when I get out of the shower. I know that's not good for me and I'm seriously sick of boiling my feet every time the itch returns. I'm sitting here in a 70 degree comfortable house in heavy wool socks because I need relief. Anybody else out there dealing with this? What on earth can this be?
