abnormal period? (crazy zramping and heavy flow)

i literally read on the tampon package that you should change your tampon in 4-6 hours but mine is usually full and leaks after 1 hour and 30 min(normal sized ones, with the super it takes about 2 hours to bu full and or leak)?? plus i have crazy cramps that make me throw up and sometimes faint. should i visit a gyno? its been like this eversince i had my period in 4th grade... please help
