NO IGNORANCE, ONLY INSIGHT PLS. I WANT REAL FACTS.

before I found out I was pregnant, I smoked weed pretty religiously. It helped me sleep, relax, study, etc. I obviously stopped once I found out that i was having a baby, and I haven't smoked since. I am genuinely curious if anyone knows if SMOKING marijuana (this doesn't include eating edibles and whatnot) could have a negative effect on my breastmilk? I'm fully aware that breast milk is the best milk for a newborn baby, and I'm dead-set on breastfeeding my son. If I choose to continue smoking right after I give birth, it wouldn't be around him. It wouldn't even be inside my own home for that matter. this post isn't regarding "second hand smoke". I've already done some research on this topic, but I'd like some more insight and knowledge. so pls feel free to comment and educate me! also, I had posted the same thing in the CC group, along w/ a poll....but I noticed that the people who were voting "against it" failed to leave any logic or facts to back up their vote. so that's why I purposely didn't include a poll for this post.
