Any good remedies for a diaper rash??

Question

Does anyone know of a good remedie for diaper rash? My son has had a bad rash in between his thighs and I've used coconut oil, vasaline, desitin and burt beez but nothing has worked. Tomorrow I'm going to let him sit in the tub with baking soda i heard it helps but is there anything else i can do? Thank you

Desitin is the one with the highest zinc oxide that I know of (40%) so it's likely going to be the fastest acting. Bad diaper rashes take a few days to go away - change the diaper often and put it on thickly, don't rub in but cake it on. Use a warm cloth or just try to wash him off gently and reapply religiously. 
The only other thing I would suggest (if it's even an option for you!) is doing the same but with expressed breast milk. It's like a miracle salve!!!

let him be naked as much as possible
use aquaphor in a very thin layer or a&d; in a very thin layer
if the rash is red bumps use clotrimazole in a very thin layer instead...found cheap in the foot care aisle at Wal-Mart😉
