Seriously though, it's ok if it's a deal breaker for you. Sit down and have an open conversation with him and gauge what exactly he wants. Is it a private thing? Does he want to incorporate it in the bedroom?
How do you feel? Does it make your skin crawl or is it something odd that you could come around to?
Every answer is totally ok and acceptable. Just don't hate on him for being interested in something different. He's probably scared you'll call him a freak or something.

I would realize that people have fetishes and as long as it isn't harming anyone then why should I care? I'd probably even go out and buy him his own, like another commenter said.

Def go with him and buy him some of his own. He could get bored with it, and it really doesn't matter what undies he likes. There's even feminine guy ones (lacy etc) available online he can wear that may be more comfortable. 
My bf puts mine on sometimes, but I think he does it out of curiosity and to be funny. Just think, there's a lot worse things out there!
