How bad is it if you don't take your folic acid for 4 days?

Question

I'm 4 weeks 6 days pregnant and on vacation in the mountains of Austria I brought to little prenatal vitamins with me so I have now 4 days no folic acids. 
The local pharmacy has them but they're 5 times as expensive as at home. 😱 What should I do?! 
I plan on getting my prenatal vitamins anyway at home,(multivitamin with folic acid) so what I buy here will not be used anymore when I return home. Thank you! 💝

unless you have a problem and doctor told you that you have to take this everyday for the sake of that baby your fine. women didn't have prenatal vitamins back in the day and some how the babies survived and kept reproducing. lol just enjoy your vacation that sounds incredibly wonderful. They do have OTC prenatals and/or Folic Acid that usually aren't too expensive.

Ive never taken folic acid while pregnant and my kids are fine. I didn't even take prenatal vitamins with my last and he was my biggest healthiest baby.

Relax. You're very early and though it is important to have the vitamins you need, it's not going to hurt you or baby to go a bit without. Just make sure you eat healthy, drink plenty of water, take in good calories and eat foods high in folic acid such as beans, leafy greens, citrus, etc. (you can google foods righ in it) Just get some vitamins when you can. You can also ask your OB for samples at your first appointment. Remember, most women don't even know they're pregnant until 5-6 weeks anyway. Congrats and good luck!
