Milk?

Question

Any moms giving there soon to be 10 month old milk yet? My ped said at our 9 month check up that we could give it now. He is still breastfed but there has been a drastic decrease in my supply.

Supply and demand. However much you breastfeed is how much babe will drink/need. We went for our 9 month check up and ours said the same thing and I said well I want to continue breastfeeding past 12 months and she said then no need to give milk it's only if you're planning on weaning by 12 months.

Yes and no... she's had sips here and there (usually when we go out to eat, we'll order her a side and a cup of milk and she takes sips from the straw) but we've never just filled her sippy and let her go to town, and we haven't replaced formula with it. Our ped said no more than just sips (and only if she's tolerating ok which she is) until after 12 months.

No. Our ped said honey and milk when she turns 1. I'll probably wean the week of, like I did with my older sons. I mixed formula and milk, and kept increasing the milk, until there was only milk.
