Ovulation test for pregnancy?

Question

Has anyone used ovulation tests as an early indicator for pregnancy? I took one when I tested at 6DPO and it was stark white negative and then I took one today with a random urine (not first morning) and it was a lot darker - I know I'm only 7DPO but I was just curious if anyone has tried this and had any luck with it? 
Or if they did and it worked, what there results looked like 7/8 dpo ish!!

It's not uncommon to get another LH surge before AF, so I wouldn't rely on an OPK for an early pregnancy test. 
Just out of curiosity though, after I had my positive pregnancy test, I tried taking an ovulation test (I was about 6 weeks pregnant), and the test line was waaay darker than the control line. xo

when i was 4-5 weeks pregnant i did an ovulation test i noticed the test line was very dark it came up faster than the control line  so in a way i guess u can tell but ur test doeant sound like the one i had sorry  😔
