I usually get my flu shot in the end of September every year, which also happens to be when my son is due this year. My question is, should I wait until after my son is born to get the flu shot, or should I do it earlier than normal, while I'm still pregnant? I've heard some people say that if I get the shot while I'm pregnant some of the vaccine will go into the baby and protect him this winter. Is that true?

I'll be talking to my doctor next week about her thoughts, but I just wanted to hear opinions from all of you as well. Thanks in advance!
