Debt and student loans

guest

So, it finally happened. I am only getting my associates degree and I am really bummed that I had to get a $5,000 student loan and almost spend $1,000 already. I work part time but that barely covers my $327 car payment and my $197 insurance. I am barely scrapping by and I don't know what to do. I have $13,500 auto loan (I love my car and if I could work full time it would be worth it). Should I feel ashamed that I had to get a student loan for just an associates? I graduate fall 2018. I am also in the process of getting my real estate license so I have potential to make more money than $350 every two weeks but it's a long process. Atleast 3 and a half months. Plus probably months for the first sale then 1 month to wait for the check.

I thought about getting a second job but I work Monday - Friday 4:00am-8:00am, full time school, on top of real estate school. I barely have time to sleep. Should I feel bad about being in debt? Should I look for other ways? I feel completely overwhelmed. I have made it so long without being in debt. I can barely make ends meet, sometimes I write online or babysit for extra cash but again it's hard to find time. And a lot of people tell me it's not worth it to be in debt for a "dumb associates".
