Braxton hicks caused by lactose/ gas/ bowels?

Addie
Has anyone else noticed a connection between gas or full bowels and increased Braxton hicks? I've had a few days after consuming quite a bit of lactose that have caused some numb or "asleep" type feelings in my lower back/ hips as well as increased Braxton hicks whenever I get up from laying or sitting down. The contractions aren't painful, just cause my stomach to go hard. This seems to be relieved a bit after I pass the bowel movement. Anyone else notice this? I'm not having any other symptoms of labor.
