Disposable or cloth diapers?

Question

I'm only in my first trimester of pregnancy with our first but am already thinking about what we'll do for diapers since I know the cost can add up quickly. I know a few people that have used cloth diapers for multiple children and am planning to ask them about it once we announce. I feel like cloth diapers are obviously so much better for the environment, but I don't know if I can handle cleaning them by hand. Lol. Any advise would be helpful! Thanks!

I have two kids, one is 20 months old boy the other one is an almost 2 months old girl, I do cloth diapers with both of them, sometimes it's so gross to clean the poop, there are ways to make cloth diapers easy, you get liners so you won't need to wash the poop, there is also spray to clean the poop. I didn't started cloth diapers until my kids were 1 month old. To make ot easier or cheap you can buy inserts and diaper covers or use FST you can get them at Wal-Mart (the FST) there is a Facebook group about cloth diapers,  you will learn EVERYTHING about it! Fluff Love is the name of the group.

We used gDiapers from birth to undies with my daughter. We are using the same ones we purchased for her this time around. So well worth the price. Zero leaks, blow outs, and diaper rashes. They have an environmentally friendly disposable option for when we are out or traveling. I do laundry constantly so it wasn't anything more difficult. Liners catch poop so you just take the poop and the liner and trash or flush it. Anything that gets on the insert or the pant can be rinsed with a diaper sprayer before getting washed. I cannot spend money on something that's literally just trash and that will sit in the landfill for 500 years. It's wasteful and gross.

Baby daughter just turned three months today.... I've used disposable... And am probably going to continue to do so until I run out of what I have from the baby shower... But, I have 12 cloth diapers with liners and all that jazz... They are super cute... But I just haven't used them yet. I know I will... Cloth diapers never made sense to me. I do laundry once a week. My daughter gets changed about 7ish times a day. I'd need at LEAST 49 cloth diapers to make it through a week which is just ridiculous to me. Plus they gross me out lol I'm not wiping poop off my daughters diapers and i feel like it could cause bacteria to grow after a while as well. So much easier to just use disposable.
