okay so I know this is a strange place to ask this but I can't find my answer anywhere! I thawed some chicken out Tuesday in the sink with water then stuck it in the fridge as I had to go to the store and get some stuff to go with it well long story short we ate out unexpectedly. Yesterday (Wednesday) I cut the meat up and out it in a ziploc bag with some peppers then stuck it back in the fridge. again got caught up running errand and ate out. today I out the chicken in the crock pot. the. in started to worry I may have let it sit too long. does anyone know the rules on thawed out chicken being refrigerated and what is safe?
