Labor?

Question

Is severe heartburn and chest pain right before a contraction normal? 27w 3d. I was prescribed pills to help stop contractions 3 days ago but they didn't relieve any pain last night or this morning. Plus 3 days ago I was already 1cm. I know you can be 1cm dilated for a while but I'm still worried :/

I have MAJOR heartburn all the time. I'm almost 35 weeks. don't worry that doesn't mean labour. also, best thing to do for contract is pee, drink a huge glass of water and lay on your left side (preterm labor experienced). also, with my first I was 3cm by 34 weeks. had a very short cervix. I had her 2 days early. I was on bed rest for near 3 months, which sucked. 
with my following pregnancy, twins, I had full blown labour that just stopped after 8 hours each, and walked around 5cm dilated with bulging waters for 3-4 weeks and still had to get induced at 37 weeks due to cholestasis. probably wouldn't have e lasted much longer though. just rest, keep hydrated, and take it easy.
