blanket and pillow?

hey all out babies are almost 17 months!!! the winter is aprouching! How do u all have your cribs set up? blanket? pillow? is it safe? drop pics or just tell me! I'm looking at babe now on monitor and she looks so uncomfortable wondering of this items might help!

Same boat here! We just started trying out a blanket for naps, we are using a crochet type blanket (with holes) to see how it goes. I was thinking about maybe getting a small pillow & putting it under the fitted sheet so she cant accidentally cover her face with it & try it for naps only as well.

My son has a blanket and he loves it, curls up with it and tosses it off at his leisure. His daycare gives him a blanket beginning at age one. It's a smaller one, I gave him a thick one once and he got kind of tangled and cried which scared me. I offered him a small Paw Patrol pillow to see if he used it, but he didn't get the concept AT ALL. His head never ended up on it - he just tossed it around and it seemed to be in his way.

My daughter has a pillow and blanket. All is well. She's had both since 12 months, and the blanket since 6 months.

No blankets or pillows, just a fitted sheet. When our daughter started walking, we switched her into a sleep sack with legs. We have some made from cotton for summer, and some made out of micro fleece for when it's colder.

My son just started sleeping in a sleeping bag at school (the one in the pic). It has a pillow attached and the blanket is attached on one side. He loves it! I was thinking of maybe trying a pillow and blanket in his crib at home to see how he does. I also thought about getting a similar sleeping bag to try in his crib, but I'm afraid he will get all tangled up at night. He moves around A LOT when he sleeps.

My daughter has slept with a blanket since she was born. She won't sleep without one. Her blankey is her comfort item. Hell, one day she insisted on using 5 at once. She likes pillows, but doesn't actually sleep on one.
